Joining as a Maintenance Shift Fitter, your roles and responsibilities will include.

  • Be responsible for mechanical maintenance work on plant, including work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Maintain and install machinery, ensuring that disruption to production is minimized
  • To carrying out welding to a satisfactory standard - MMA & MIG
  • Maintenance of boiler house, checking steam raising works and routine checks
  • Ensure documentation is kept up to date, working in line with legislative requirements in relation to health and safety.

To be consider you must meet the following.

  • Have a recognised Mechanical engineering qualification - NVQ Level 3 minimum
  • Experience working in a manufacturing production environment
  • Welding and fabrication experience - MMA and MIG
  • Heavy plant experience ideally
