Our client is a growing Medical Device company with a ground-breaking piece of kit that is helping diagnose patients rapidly at the point of care whilst they wait, and therefore saving lives!
With any business the "C" word is what it usually comes down to. COST that is.
As a Cost Reduction Specialist, you will utilise your experience in Negotiation, Budget Management, Cost Estimating, and Supply Chain to seek opportunities to reduce costs.
You will track Product Price Variance (PPV), Total Value Management (TMV), and Product Cost Estimating (PCM) to optimise cost reductions.
You will regularly liaise with existing and new suppliers as well as internal department leaders.
Skills and Experience:
Proven Cost Reduction skills from Cost Engineer, Procurement, Supply Chain or Engineering background
Supplier Relations Management
APICS certificate desirable but not essential
Knowledge of Life Sciences sector advantageous
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
