Job Description
We have an excellent opportunity for a CNC Miller to work for a global machine manufacturer based in Rochdale.
The role would involve the machining of medium to large sized heavy components up to 8 tonne.
Applicants must be time-served engineers with experience in the programming, setting and operating of CNC machines (Milling and Boring). Training certificates must be shown at interview.
Past experience using heidenhain or fanuc controls is essential as well as the ability to self inspect your work.
You will start on standard days and progress to shift working once settled (6-2, 2-10 and 10-6).
From April 2020, the standard pay rate on days is £14.21 per hour, and when on shift working you can expect pay uplifts as follows:
20% on 6-2 (£17.05), 30% on 2-10 (18.47), 40% on 10-6 (£19.89)
All candidates must be flexible and be able to cover any shift.
