We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components, primarily using MIG welding techniques, to produce high-quality products in accordance with technical specifications. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in fabrication and welding to contribute to a dynamic and growing organisation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fabricate metal components based on blueprints and specifications
• Operate welding equipment to join metal parts together
• Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet standards
• Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and smooth metal surfaces
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time

Experience

• Proven experience as a fabricator/welder or similar role
• Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Familiarity with various welding equipment and tools
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision

Schedule

• 08:00-16:30pm Monday-Thursday (Workshop)
• 08:00-14:00pm Friday (Workshop)
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend & overtime availability
• There will also be a need for you to work on our client sites when required
