Job Title: Engineering Inspector
Location: Onsite (Parking Available)
Salary: £17.58 per hour + Overtime (Potential to earn £45,000+ per annum with overtime)
Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 07:45 - 17:00
Friday: 07:45 - 10:45

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced Engineering Inspector to join our Quality Control team. You will work closely with our operations department to ensure all products meet internal and customer quality standards. Your attention to detail and technical background will help uphold our commitment to delivering high-quality components and maintaining strong customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform first-off, in-process (patrol), and final inspections of machined components.
Carry out formal evaluations and inspections to ensure products conform to manufacturing procedures and quality standards.
Record measurements and inspection results accurately.
Identify, report, and react to quality issues, collaborating with relevant departments to implement corrective actions.
Assess feasibility of rework and support improvement initiatives.
Liaise with internal teams to support quality assurance and continuous improvement.
Maintain control and calibration of inspection, measuring, and test equipment.
Contribute to a positive team environment and accept constructive feedback from management.
Qualifications & Experience:
Fully time-served engineer
Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
Essential Skills:
Proficient in the use of manual measuring tools: Micrometers, Vernier Calipers, Height Gauges, etc.
Experienced in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Able to conduct reverse engineering and produce reports from physical samples.
Skilled in completing customer documentation and quality reports.
Familiar with inspection equipment calibration and control processes.
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Good communicator and team player.
