We have a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Programme Manager to work on one of the largest defence projects in the UK.

This senior role is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of complex facilities improvement projects at a major UK naval site. The successful candidate will manage programme delivery, governance, and stakeholder relationships, ensuring that critical infrastructure is maintained and enhanced in support of national defence operations and long-term capability.

This position would suit an experienced Senior Project Manager, Programme Manager, or Facilities/Plant Manager who wishes to broaden their career within large-scale, high-security engineering projects. It will appeal to individuals who excel in leadership, stakeholder engagement, and programme delivery within highly regulated and safety-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage an integrated project delivery team to achieve programme objectives.
• Establish and maintain programme governance, ensuring roles, responsibilities and accountabilities are clearly defined.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders and customers, balancing competing demands and priorities.
• Monitor programme progress, reporting performance and escalating risks as appropriate.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, team performance, and delivery outcomes.
