Job description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Cost Controller to work on one of the largest defence projects in the UK. The role is a hybrid role, with a few days consecutive on site every month (expensed).
This role offers the opportunity to join a growing and ambitious team responsible for delivering complex infrastructure projects in support of the UK submarine programme. The successful candidate will play a key role in cost management and project controls, supporting a portfolio of capital investment projects across a major naval site.
This position is ideal for individuals with a background in project controls, cost management, finance, or project support who are looking to broaden their skills within a dynamic environment. It will particularly suit motivated candidates keen to develop their expertise in large-scale infrastructure delivery within a highly regulated sector.

- Monitor, validate, and control project accruals, commitments, and resource forecasts.
- Manage and control cost risk budgets and financial change processes.
- Provide accurate financial performance and cost reports, including earned value analysis.
- Deliver key reporting outputs such as cost breakdown structures, estimates at completion, and lessons learned updates.
In return you'll receive a salary up to £50k, 25 days holiday, Private Health and Dental, an enhanced pension, and a bonus up to 20%.
