Job Title: Panel Wirer
Location: OL10 area (Heywood/Rochdale)
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am - 3:30pm; Friday, 7:00am - 1:00pm

Introduction

A specialist manufacturer of clean air and containment systems is looking for a skilled Panel Wirer to join their team in the OL10 area. Their equipment supports pharmaceutical drug development and manufacturing across hospitals, laboratories, and production sites throughout the UK and Europe, helping to deliver life-saving medical treatments.

Who this job would suit

This role would suit a hands-on individual with strong electrical assembly skills and a solid understanding of wiring systems and diagnostics. It's ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, has previous fault-finding experience, and is looking to build a long-term career in a growing, technically advanced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical components and control panels

• Perform fault-finding and electrical diagnostics on systems

• Read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring schematics

• Carry out risk assessments and ensure safe working practices

• Support production teams to meet project and delivery deadlines
