Job description
Lab Technician required, Permanent position, salary is between £26,000 - £28,500,
Working Mon-Thurs 8am-4:30pm, Fri 8am-1pm. 37 hours a week, possible overtime.

Job Purpose
The purpose of the role is having ongoing control of all their chemical processes to ensure they meet customer specification at all times.
Your responsibilities
- Control and analysis of all chemical process lines within their facility to meet internal and customer requirements.
- Leading all chemical additions and tank changes to processing lines with the help of other trained operators.
- Development and control of all procedures related to the control of chemical processes ensuring they meet specification requirements.
- Control of process chemicals on site, including usage, identification, storage and completion of aerospace records in an accurate and efficient manner.
- Correct running and maintenance of the water treatment and neutralisation plant, ensuring all waste chemicals are treated in a safe and efficient manor to meet regulatory requirements.
- Conducting annual reviews for all other operators who are trained in chemical analysis.
- Achieve high standards of quality in line with targeted levels of output whilst working safely and maintaining full product traceability.
- Provide constructive verbal and written feedback to the onsite chemist and NDT level 3 with regards to potential issues and improvements.
- Working as part of a team and you are encouraged to contribute to improving any working processes.
- Support the cell leader in training and transferring job skills and knowledge as required and in-line with company strategy.
- Actively look to resolve problems with the support of the wider team within the Company.
