🔧 Welder (Backshift) - Structural Steel | Richmond

We are currently recruiting skilled Structural Steel Welders for a backshift role in Brompton-on-Swale. This is a great opportunity to secure long-term work with excellent pay and benefits.

📍 Location

• Brompton-on-Swale, North Yorkshire

💷 Pay & Contract

• Rate: £19.54 per hour (PAYE)

• Contract: Temp to Perm (12 weeks)

• Excellent opportunity for long-term stability

⏰ Working Hours & Overtime

• Backshift:

  • Monday - Thursday: 2:30pm - 11:00pm

  • Friday: 2:30pm - 8:30pm

  • 40 hours per week

• Overtime (Saturday):

  • Paid at 1.5x basic rate

🛠️ Main Duties

• Structural steel welding of plates and sections up to 100mm thick

• Carry out visual inspections in line with specifications

• Safe use of grinders and consumables in line with HAVS regulations

✅ Skills & Experience Required

• Time-served welder or equivalent qualification (skill test required)

• Experience working with structural steel (essential)

• Good understanding of health & safety practices

• Ability to meet deadlines and production targets
