Taziker is a family-owned civil engineering business, based in Horwich, England. Established in 1969, the company specialises in the refurbishment of new and old structures, including iconic landmarks such as the Royal Albert Bridge, Tay Rail Bridge and the Big One rollercoaster at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
It is also a Principal Contractor for Network Rail and most recently completed the steelwork refurbishment on the Jodrell Bank telescope.
The Challenge
Employment Solutions began working with Taziker in 2014 when the company’s growth demanded an ever-increasing supply of contract workers at its base in Bolton and on-site across the country.
Taziker needed a recruitment agency that had the ability to mobilise skilled workshop and site engineers with speed and ease in order to ensure deadline-critical projects were completed on time.
Additionally, the business needed an agency that would be able to source workers close to home in the North West, as well as in Scotland and the south coast of England. Employment Solutions was able to meet and excel at delivering to these briefs.
The Results
Since our partnership with Taziker began in 2014, we have supplied them with:
- Workshop welders and platers
- Site welders and steel fixers
- Office-based estimators and project managers
We have sent them 200 CVs, of which 110 candidates were taken forward to interviews, resulting in 95 placements.
The Future
Our success with Taziker is down to a strong, trusting partnership between the two companies. With weekly calls and regular visits to the Horwich base, we make sure we’re consistently supplying high-quality workers who meet the needs and expectations of the company, while also participating in project review meetings to plan ahead for Taziker’s future staffing needs.
