Rates (Blue Book):
Standard Rate - £21.27
OT 1 - £29.78
OT 2 - £38.29
Hourly Bonus - £2.37
Lodge Payment - £337.12 per week

Hours/Shifts: 44hrs per week, Monday to Friday. 6 hours paid at OT1, plus overtime opportunities and potentially nights.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform mainly TIG welding operations, but occasionally STICK according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols.
• Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting and shaping components as necessary
• Ensure proper fit-up and alignment of parts prior to welding
• Inspect weld for accuracy, completeness and conformance to specifications
• Conduct visual and non-destructive testing to ensure the quality of welded joints
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Report any equipment malfunctions and perform basic repairs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Use Appropriate PPE and follow safety procedures
• Work collaboratively with other team members and communicate effectively

Requirements:

• P4 Pass
• NVQ Level 3 - Welding
• Experience with TIG & Stick Welding.
• Experience with Pen & Butt welds - desirable.
