Who This Job Would Suit
This role is ideal for an experienced CNC Machinist with a strong background in precision milling. It would suit someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be adaptable, motivated, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machine tools to produce large components to exact specifications and tolerances.
  • Support and mentor colleagues and trainees, contributing to their development as required.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures while maintaining high housekeeping standards.
  • Work across a rotating three-shift pattern (early, late, and night shifts) and be flexible to work additional hours to meet business needs.
  • Interpret and work from technical engineering drawings to manufacture components efficiently.

Salary

  • 6am-2pm (£20.71 per hour)
  • 2pm-10pm (£22.43 per hour)
  • 10pm-6am (£24.16 per hour)
  • Overtime paid at time & half over 37 hours
