The company is big on organic growth, this role has come about due to recent growth which they are unable to support organically. The role and responsibilities of the position include.

• Demonstrate an excellent understanding of switchgear products, using fault finding and rectification skills, to assisting with maintenance, repair, and servicing of LV/MV/HV switchgear, circuit breakers and SF6 gas.

• Ensuring that top level customer service and technical support is provided all times, demonstrating excellent fault finding and rectification skills, to ensure customer requirements are met.

• Ensure correct and accurate documentation is kept at all times. Completing reports, timesheets and expenses, to ensure invoicing is all processed correctly.

• To install, commission, test and maintenance relaying equipment. Carrying out end to end testing.

To be considered you must meet the following.

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a switchgear engineering role is

• Have a good understanding of HV/LV switchgear, relays and associated equipment, power transmission and distributions systems.

• Ability to read electrical drawings.

• Be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 in an engineering discipline.

• Be a collaborative team member.
