We have an exciting opportunity to join an SME Aerospace Manufacturing business who specialise in hydraulic systems within the industry. Due to recent investment they are looking for a dedicated and skilled service engineer to support their service team.

The role would suit an experienced engineer from a mechanical background, particularly in inspection and repairing of lifting systems. Most of the work will be around the Derby area with some work requiring travel nationally. It's a customer facing position and will involve servicing, inspecting, repairing and testing Ground Support and Lifting Equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and test lifting equipment on and off-site.
• Conduct safety inspections of lifting equipment and plant machinery to comply with LOLER & PUWER regulations.
• Service, repair, and maintain airframe tools for Boeing & Airbus and Ground Support Equipment.
• Modify lifting equipment as needed.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by the Management team.

In return you'll receive a salary up to £39k, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, Healthcare after probation and flexible working arrangements.
