We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager to join a major nuclear and civil infrastructure programme based in Whitehaven. This role will lead the engineering function across complex infrastructure projects, ensuring design delivery is fully integrated with construction, programme and safety requirements within a highly regulated nuclear environment.

This position would suit a senior engineering professional with extensive experience managing engineering teams on major infrastructure or civil engineering projects, ideally within nuclear or other highly regulated sectors. It will appeal to someone who enjoys leading multi-disciplinary teams, coordinating design delivery and ensuring engineering excellence across complex programmes.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the engineering and design function across the project programme
* Ensure engineering outputs align with programme requirements, construction sequencing and regulatory standards
* Coordinate closely with project, construction and commercial teams to support successful delivery
* Manage engineering risks, technical queries and design change processes
* Provide leadership and guidance to engineering teams, ensuring quality, safety and compliance across all activities

In return you'll receive a salary up to £98k plus £6,325 car allowance, 25 days holiday, up to 8% company pension contribution and private medical insurance.
