Job description

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Document Controller to manage and oversee all aspects of document management within a major oil and gas project. The position involves developing, implementing and maintaining effective document control processes, ensuring compliance with contractual and project-specific requirements, and leading a team to deliver high-quality documentation standards across multiple offices.

This position would suit an organised and proactive professional with a strong background in supplier document management and extensive experience in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a meticulous approach to documentation control, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while guiding a team and collaborating effectively across departments and with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and manage document management procedures and project-specific documentation plans.
  • Oversee and coordinate document control activities to ensure compliance with project milestones and quality standards.
  • Lead the setup and operation of document management systems, ensuring alignment with client and contractual requirements.
  • Establish and manage supplier and engineering document management processes, including reporting and progress measurement.
  • Supervise the document management team, ensuring effective communication, prioritisation and adherence to best practices.
