Semi-Skilled Operatives, Permanent position, £16.57 an hour + Benefits

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7:00am - 17:30pm and 7am - 12pm on a Friday.

Job Description: In this busy role, you will be responsible for sorting materials and organizing their internal movement to ensure the factory remains continuously supplied. Key responsibilities include:

• Material Handling:

  • Sort and organize materials using Ficep machines to ensure smooth flow of goods in and out of the factory.
  • Maintain and organize goods in and dispatch areas.
  • Liaise with team leaders to coordinate the movement of materials.
  • Mark up materials upon arrival and provide location information to production control.
  • Load finished items onto trailers for dispatch.

• Health and Safety:

  • Conduct pre-use safety checks on machines, cranes, and mobile plant.
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety policies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with a logistics background.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of Health and Safety policies.
• Ability to operate Ficep machines and handle materials efficiently.
