Days - £11.95 an hour

Nights - £15.93 an hour

Previous experience as a Saw Setter/Operator preferred,

The role will consist of receiving job cards and identifying, then selecting the material that corresponds with the instructions on the job cards, then taking the material to the machine. You'll also select blades, feeds & speeds, methods, and material to produce customer requirements, and always maintaining attention to details.
Will have responsibility for cleaning and maintaining your machine and ancillary equipment. Must report all faults to your Manager


Person Specification
* Good communication and listening skills
* Good knowledge of English and Maths
* Inspection & Measurement experiences
* Knowledge of Production systems
* Knowledge of Quality systems
* Health & Safety awareness
* Awareness of machines, manual handling, quality, and production procedures - training will be completed.
* High level of concentration and attention to detail
* Work well within a team, however able to carry out tasks and duties independently
* be able to complete record sheets and paperwork.
* provide good customer service
* understanding and recognising part numbers, cast numbers & identification of parts, including identifying sequences of numbers and letters accurately.
* Forklift Truck &/or Crane Operator certificate preferrable however not essential.
