Are you an experienced Quality Engineer within Manufacturing working to ISO 9001?

Familiar with a Machining environment? Maybe you're apprentice trained, or can interpret engineering drawings, or gained experience supporting this department before.

Our client Manufacture Heavy Special Purpose Machinery & Equipment, and after seeing year on year growth and recent investment they are looking to expand their Quality team.

As a Quality Engineer you will report into the Quality Manager and work closely as part of a team to investigate and resolve quality issues.

• You will ensure compliance to ISO 9001, whilst maintaining and improving the QMS.

• You will lead and drive Quality & Continuous Improvement based projects.

• You will support Machining and Mechanical Engineering departments to implement corrective and preventative actions.

• You will identify and promote cost reduction activities.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in Quality for Manufacturing or Engineering sector.

• Experience working to ISO 9001

• Knowledge of metrology / measuring techniques such as Faro Arm, CMM is desirable but not essential.

• Ability to interpret Engineering drawings desired.

Location - Rochdale
Salary - Competitive (dependent on experience)

Permanent - Full Time - 37.5 per week. Mon-Thurs, 08:15 to 16:30, Fri 08:15 to 15:15
