QC Inspection Manager

With almost 20 years in business, we are a leading provider of Specialised Commercial Vehicles with manufacturing premises in Blackburn, our dedicated team of over 100 people ensures the development and support of our in-house products. We are seeking a QC Inspection Supervisor to uphold the highest quality standards within the QC Inspection department. This pivotal role involves overseeing quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and managing a dedicated team to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Management and the Inspection team to develop and implement quality control processes.
• Manage and mentor the inspection team.
• Conduct daily inspections to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor adherence to quality protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare documentation on quality findings and maintain accurate records.
• Provide guidance and training to the inspection team to enhance their understanding of quality standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience within Quality Control / Quality Assurance for Manufacturing
• Leadership experience in a Supervisory position
• Strong Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement skills.
• Previous inspection experience.

Working Hours: 40 hrs per week - Mon-Fri (early finish Friday).
