We have excellent opportunities for Plater fabricators for long-term MOD projects based in the Birkenhead area.

These roles are ideal for Platers who can work from engineering drawings, who are skilled in the fabrication of heavy plate and are experienced with metal cutting / oxy acetylene burning processes.

These on-going contract positions come with a digs allowance for applicants travelling from further afield.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plating and fabricate large structures / fabrications.
• Working from Engineers drawings
• Using overhead cranes
• Burning with oxy-acetylene torches and using general hand tools

Pay Rates: (PAYE)

• £19.22 basic Monday to Friday (Basic 38 hrs)
• £28.83 Overtime Monday to Saturday
• £38.44 Overtime on Sundays.
• On average, typical week worked is 48 - 56 hours
