Join a dynamic and innovative Engineering team, contributing as a Technical Lead in structural projects. We are seeking a skilled professional to manage in-house and outsourced engineering activities, ensuring the structural integrity of our products meets the highest standards.

The business themselves are a heavy engineering business who specialise in the Defence sector. They have won projects worth £BILLIONS which has led to significant investment in expansion, but also in the facilities.

This role is ideal for an experienced Structural/Mechanical Stress Engineer with a profound understanding of structural behavior, material properties, and proficiency in Eurocodes and relevant standards. The candidate should hold an Engineering Degree, and possess at least 5 years of experience in FEA simulation, including software like ANSYS.

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days a week on site, 2 days in office and will be a technical role rather than a managerial position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the Technical Lead for Structural projects
• Oversee in-house and outsourced Engineering activities
• Liaise with customers to verify project scope and ensure deliverables
• Prepare and manage project programmes, workload, and resources
