We are working with a leading company in the Bury area who are looking to recruit a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, this is a newly created position due to business growth.

If you have proven engineering design experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and design experience with sheet metal/ fabricated products we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the delivery of standard and bespoke designs.

- Take ownership of the Project Life Cycle from product concept through to delivery.

- Work closely with the sales team to offer concept design solutions during quotation and tender processes.

- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop new products for emerging markets.

- Work with the Head of Engineering to improve existing designs.

- Produce Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams.

- Drive design for Manufacture and Design for Assembly best practices.
