We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to support production readiness and ensure robust processes for a key project. The role is to work for a leading Defence business who have received huge funding in the Stockport area, and have long standing order books worth £Billions!

This position is ideal for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in production optimisation and process development. The ideal candidate will thrive in a hands-on role, enjoy problem-solving, and be adept at driving efficiency and quality in a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure SAP routings are detailed correctly for efficient kitting and assembly.
• Develop and create standard operations (work instructions) for various modules and processes.
• Provide on-site training and support to build Technicians.
• Lead structured problem-solving and process improvement activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to optimise cost performance and minimise waste.

In return you'll receive a salary up to £50,000, 25 days holiday and 7% pension contributions.
