The factory is quite an old school environment, with bits of new kit as well, meaning your required to have a good, well-rounded skillset. This role operates on a double day shift in a heavy engineering/FMCG environment.


We are recruiting for a multiskilled maintenance engineer to join the company on its latest period of growth. Your responsibilities include.

  • Assisting with the maintenance schedule of all Plant equipment and Machinery. Carrying out the PPM schedule to ensure all maintenance activities are carried out as planned.

  • Responding to breakdown - ensuring downtime is minimised by promptly responding to breakdowns, carrying out route cause analysis to diagnose the problem and rectify accordingly.

  • Assisting with commissioning of all new machinery on site as per the needs of the business.

  • Ensuring documentation of all maintenance work is collated so there is an auditable trail.


To be considered for this exciting role, you must meet the following criteria.

  • Completed a time served apprenticeship within engineering

  • Experience working with a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Be able to read electrical and mechanical drawings
