We are currently seeking an experienced Facilities & HSE Manager to join our team in Blackburn. We prioritize quality, safety, and environmental responsibility. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficient workplace whilst transforming the factory into a much more efficient, safe, and compliant workplace.

You will have the opportunity to put your stamp on things and take the lead in what needs to be done in order to implement improvements around the building.

Who This Job Would Suit:
This role is ideal for a dedicated and experienced professional in Facilities Management with HSE experience. Strong knowledge of UK health and safety regulations, ISO 14001, and excellent communication and training skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with sub-contractors and internal teams to transform the building / facilities and implement improvements from both a Facilities Maintenance & HSE perspective.
  • Develop and implement safety policies in line with UK regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and address potential hazards.
  • Investigate accidents, develop strategies for prevention, and stay updated on regulations.
  • Oversee facility maintenance, equipment, and security systems.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and ensure cleanliness standards.
  • Environmental Responsibility and ISO 14001
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections and incidents.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Facilities Management
  • Strong HSE experience to ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
  • Hands on, assertive approach with excellent communication & relationship building skills.
  • NEBOSH certificate preferred but not essential.
  • Experience with Manufacturing / Factory environment.

Location: Blackburn
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (negotiable)
