Job description

We are currently head hunting an electrical to join a manufacture client based in North Manchester, to get involved with an array of projects. The company are very big on engineering their own solutions to optimize their production hall. With multi-million-pound automation projects planned, the role is designed to provide electrical and control support with bespoke machinery projects. Working Mon-Fri with favourable shift, this is a great opportunity for the right person to flourish. We are open to both junior and senior candidates for this role.

As an electrical controls project engineer, your roles and responsibilities include.

  • To play a hand in the designing and development of automated production systems on the factory shopfloor. Working with a range of bespoke machinery, conveyors, pneumatics and packaging lines
  • To use your strong knowledge of electrical breakdowns and control systems, to modify and occasionally rewrite program where necessary.
  • To be able to configure inverter drives, test and work on control systems, and relay logic.
  • Be collaborative member of the team.

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria

  • Have served your time in a recognised electrical engineering apprenticeship or be degree qualified.
  • Have the ability to modify and programme on PLC's - Ideally Siemens or Mitsubishi
  • Experience working with SCADA systems - Wonderware ideally
  • Auto cad experience is highly desirable.
  • 18th edition
