Multi-Skilled Engineer-Electrically biased, Permanent position, hourly rate dependent on experience.
Working hours - Start on days, 8am-5pm Mon-Fri

The Role

Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, this will be a very much "hands" on pro-active role, responsible for all aspects of fault diagnosing, electrical and mechanical repair and maintenance of machinery including automated assembly cells / injection moulding / hydraulic presses.
Completing PPM activities of factory services and new installations of plant and miscellaneous equipment.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role with an extensive understanding of electrical and mechanical practices, with the ability to identify potential issues and advise on corrective course of measures.
A focused team player with a strong character with the aim of further improving the department, creative and the ability to convey their own ideas to the department.

Experience of press, injection moulding and assembly machines, conveyors, installation (single and 3ph) and panel wiring is preferred.

Need to have an Electrical apprenticeship, and 18th edition preferred.
