We have an excellent permanent opportunity for an E C & I Craftsperson (Instrument Mech) based on site in Cumbria.

This Instrument Mech role involves the repair, maintenance and calibration of Radiation Protection instruments and associated equipment.

DBS and security clearance will be required for this position, which we can processed during your application.

It is essential that all applicants are Apprenticeship trained or have equivalent training in relevant discipline (e.g. Electronic, Electrical, Instrumentation, Technology fields)


You must have a minimum of 5 GCSE or equivalent (at Grade C or above) including English, a Science subject and Maths at a minimum of Grade B

Candidates must also have a JIB card and/ or CCNSG and 18th edition Electrical wiring regs. Ace card will be accepted

It is also essential that applicants have sound knowledge and understanding of conventional and nuclear safety with proven experience of servicing electronic instrument systems.
