CNC Turner - Setter Operator (Mazak Experience Preferred)

A leading manufacturing company in the Stockport area, specialising in high-quality precision equipment, is seeking an experienced CNC Turner - Setter Operator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC lathes, particularly Mazak machines, and contributing to the efficient production of complex components to tight tolerances.

This position would be ideal for a highly skilled CNC Turner with prior experience operating and setting Mazak machines. It would suit someone with a proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced engineering environment. Conventional machining experience would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate Mazak CNC turning machines to produce precision components

• Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications

• Perform basic maintenance and quality checks on machinery

• Assist with conventional turning operations when required

• Ensure adherence to safety and quality procedures at all times

Salary

£34,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
