Introduction:

Renowned for their precision-engineered military bridging systems, they are now expanding their team at the Stockport Engineering Centre of Excellence. This presents an exciting opportunity for CNC Turners to contribute to the production of critical products distributed to over 40 countries.

This role would suit individuals who thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment, possess a strong background in CNC machining, and have a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate is someone with a solid understanding of engineering drawings, coupled with experience in operating CNC Lathes.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize CNC Lathes, demonstrating proficiency in both setting and operating.
Interpret engineering drawings to ensure precision and conformity to specifications.
Leverage technical skills to run CNC programs, retrieving and inputting data from the network.
Ideally possess NVQ level 2-3 in Engineering/Machining or HNC/HND, supplemented by a machining apprenticeship.
Apply previous experience in running CNC Lathes to contribute to the efficient production of military bridging systems.

Benefits:

Salary - £18.38 per hour
Employee's Pension contribution - 4% of Contribution Salary1

Death in Service - 4 times Salary2
Notice Period - 1 months on the completion of a satisfactory 6 months probationary period
Holidays - 25 days per annum
