Job description

Bid Co-ordinator, Permanent position, Upto £30,000 - Dependent on experience,

4-day working week. 37 hours, flexible hours between 6am-6pm

This is a great opportunity to join a Company who specialise within the Nuclear sector

The main purpose of the role is to engage with customers and internal stakeholders to support the Bid Team in driving the bid process and producing high-quality winning tenders.

Specific Areas of Responsibility

Compilation of tender documentation
Support to the Business Development team with pre-tender requirements/ deliverables
Review of Invitation to Tender requirements/ deliverables
Document control within their Bid process
Coordination of tender contributions from their delivery departments (Engineering, Manufacturing, Projects etc.)
Formatting of documents to a high standard of presentation
Production of graphics including organisation charts, tables and flow diagrams
Updating of their enquiries database
Support to the monitoring of bid budgets using their accounting system
Maintaining departmental shared document drives and bid library information
Using Strategix software to support their accounting system
Administrative tasks including:

    • Arrangement of meetings/ calendars
    • Minute taking/ Action tracking
    • Log internal and external correspondence
    • Photocopying, scanning, printing, labelling shredding and filing

To perform any other reasonable task requested by the Bid Manager
To support the Business Development team with coordinating meetings and pre-tender activities

The role will require day to day interaction with, and support from, the Business Development team and the nominated Delivery teams for each bid. The Bid Manager will provide support, guidance and ensure inclusion in all team communications.
