Job description

This role involves coordinating the development of projects from initiation to closure within the UK Nuclear New Build markets. The successful candidate will ensure projects meet code standards, client specifications, and are completed on time and within budget. The position is based in Bristol, with travel to Chester and stakeholder meetings.

Who This Job Would Suit
This position is ideal for an Assistant Project Manager, Junior Project Manager or Project Coordinator with a background in Nuclear energy and experience in managing complex projects. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of project management tools, and the ability to lead teams effectively. Experience in a manufacturing environment and fluency in English is essential; fluency in French is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the project, including safety, quality, schedule, and cost, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and define project scope of work, financial plan, goals, and deliverables.
  • Assign responsibilities and identify resource requirements.
  • Lead operational, financial, and technological aspects of projects based on timelines and work plans.
  • Communicate intensively with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to establish effective working relationships.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator in highly regulated sectors
  • Nuclear experience highly desirable
  • Degree qualified in relevant discipline
  • Willingness to working between Bristol & Chester.

Contract Pay Rate: circa £35 per hour (PAYE) OR £46 per hour (Umbrella)
3-month initial Contract with strong potential of extension
Location: Bristol (with travel to the North West)
Working Hours: 37.5 hrs 0700-1530 (Mon-Thurs), 0700-1230 (Fri)
