Mechanical Assembly Operative

Assisting with the production of end carriages for cranes:

semi-skilled Mechanical Assembly of end carriages/bogies (Must have previous Mechanical Assembly experience)

• Fixing bearings in wheels
• Cleaning flange drives and stub hubs
• Fixing end plates to specific measurements
• Painting carriages in rust-proof paint
• Help with stock-keeping and replenishment
• Assisting Skilled Engineers
• FLT Counterbalance licence is extremely desirable

In return, you will be rewarded with a permanent position (following a successful temporary 13-week period).

• 37 hours per week (7 am - 5 pm, Monday - Thursday)
• Hourly rate - £11.16 - increasing to £13.01 after 13 weeks with regular overtime also available.
