An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Workshop Labourer/Machine Operator within a busy engineering workshop located in Reddish, Stockport. This is a permanent role following a successful 13-week temporary period, offering a chance to be part of a team that plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process.

The Ideal Candidate should be:

• someone with a background in engineering or manufacturing.
• someone who has experience in operating pipe threading and cutting machinery.
• physically fit as manual handling a labouring are a crucial part of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport steel pipes within the workshop.
• Operate Pipe Thread and Steel pipe-cutting machinery.
• Precisely cut pipes according to order sheets.
• Provide assistance to fellow engineers in their tasks.
• perform general labouring tasks within the workshop.

Standard Hours:

40 Hours Per Week - 8:30-5:00 Monday-Friday

Salary:

Salary will be in the region of £11-£12ph depending on experience and qualifications.
