A fantastic opportunity awaits a seasoned Strategic Sourcing Manager in the field of Supply Chain. Reporting to the company Planning & Supply Chain Director. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in sourcing requirements, ensuring compliance, and fostering industry relationships.

Who This Job Would Suit:

Ideal for a degree-qualified professional with a minimum of 8 years' hands-on experience in strategic sourcing and commercial negotiation within a manufacturing environment. The candidate should have a proven track record, extensive knowledge of procurement contracts, and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end supply chain sourcing and commercial solutions.
• Implement supplier and commodity strategies for improved supply chain performance.
• Ensure supplier compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Control procurement costs and identify opportunities for savings.
• Manage sourcing project portfolio aligning with business and supply chain metrics.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Sourcing, Purchasing or Procurement Manager or equivalent.
• Degree qualified and/or CIPS qualified.
• Strong commodity management experience
• Experience within a regulated Manufacturing or Engineering sector
• Strong commercial acumen, with knowledge of contractual T&Cs

Location: Accrington

Salary: £50k - £65k
