Our client is the largest structural steelwork company in the UK, recognised for its iconic structures and engineering excellence, having been involved in the UK's highest-profile builds and complex projects.
We have excellent permanent opportunities for Steel Erectors to work on Hinkley point C in Somerset.
Rates: ECSA pay rates, £27.12 per hour + overtime, £37.97 to £48.82 per hour + excellent benefits from day one. Accommodation allowance £337.12 per week
Job Responsibilities:
- To erect steel on site, following the direction of supervision.
- Fixing and bolting of steel
- Marking out steel work
- Cutting steel where required
- Operate construction equipment and machinery
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
- Offloading of wagons in a safe manner
- Put together and take apart temporary structures
Qualifications/Experience:
Applicants must have one of the following -
- ECITB Diploma in (either): Erecting Engineering Construction Capital Plant Steel Structures / or Engineering Construction Lifting, Positioning and Installing Structures, Plant and Equipment
- ECITB Skills Test Alternative / Skills Test Number: TER03 or TER04
- ACE Card
- CSCS Gold Card for Steel Erector Level 3 Diploma Advanced Craftsman
It is essential that applicants hold a current IPAF certificate. A CPCS Telescopic Handler A17C certificate is advantageous.
