Sheet Metal worker/Fabricator

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced / Time-served, Sheet Metal worker/Fabricator for a fabrication company that manufactures for a wide range of industrial sectors

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate light to medium Fabrications
• Work under minimum supervision.
• MIG weld to a high standard.
• manufacture directly from Working Drawings.

Ideal candidates

• Time served - Qualified to City & Guilds 3 in Fabrication & Welding (or equivalent).
• previous experience in MIG welding.
• previous experience of working with Sheet Metal.
• Be able to read engineering Drawings.
• Have a full (clean) driving license.

Benefits

• Hourly rate of £15.19 p/hr + premium overtime.
• Stable 38.5-hour workweek, Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with half-day 12 pm finish on Fridays.
• 20 days of paid holiday plus Bank Holidays, rising to 25 days after 3 years.
• permanent employment following a successful 13-week temp-to-perm period via Employment Solutions.
