We have an exciting Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a nuclear business gaining investment from their clients for future growth! The client work a hybrid work across a 4 day week.

The role involves crafting concept, scheme, and detailed designs for varied projects in the industry.

Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, this position calls for managing equipment design and ensuring compliance with industry standards while delivering on quality and efficiency.

This job would suit an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer from the nuclear industry, accustomed to navigating multifaceted design challenges within a team-oriented setting. The ideal candidate thrives in producing compliant designs, meeting project timelines, and overseeing a team when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:

• Generate design concepts and layouts.
• Conduct technical risk analysis for CDM compliance and CE certification.
• Ensure designs adhere to British, European standards, and client specifications.
• Produce comprehensive design documentation and maintain technical files per QA requirements.
• Address operability, maintainability, and safety concerns within designs.

In return you'll receive a salary of up to £42,500, 25 days holiday and Healthcare along side the 4 day working week.
