We are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Project Engineer, for a market leader in the field of hydraulics systems, located in Bolton. Working as part of the 9-man engineering department, providing support to the business in designing and developing a variety of equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with the industry's laws and standards

Your main duties and responsibilities will be:

• Ensure schedules are understood and workload is managed to meet objectives.
• Designing and implementing new products into production with all associated detailed drawings, BOM's and technical specifications, ensuring fully up to date and accurate
• Effectively communicate project status to the Head of Engineering and other related parties
• Prepare weekly and monthly project status, justifying any expenditures and update the cost estimates.
• Creating, completing, and maintaining Bills of Material BOM's, tracking changes in Engineering Change Requests ECR's, legislative developments and part revisions as appropriate

The right candidate will have experience working in a multi-skilled environment, be confident in 3D design and have CNC programming skills, online and offline Mazak Intergrex.

This is a superb career opportunity for a passionate, qualified manufacturing design engineer to be fully involved at a very exciting time in this business's growth. The role would be working 40 hours a week, in office 8-4.30pm Monday - Thursday and 8-1pm Fridays. With a salary up to £50k DOE.
