Pay Rate: £11.80

Location: Gateshead

6 months contract with the possibility of Temp to Perm
Hours: 37.5

My client is a market-leading company with more than 150 years of experience in the energy industry. Currently, they are looking for Sales Administrator who would improve customer satisfaction by reducing customer response time and simplifying the customer experience.

You would be responsible for inputting and processing customer inquiries and orders using the ERP system following procedures to complete work aligning with internal KPIs.

This is the perfect opportunity to utilize and improve your existing sales and admin skills, by conducting reviews, investigating, analysing orders, and developing your problem-solving methods.

Day-to-day duties:

  • Utilising the ERP system to process customer inquiries, quotations, and orders.
  • Represent customer interest within the company to help resolve their requests promptly.
  • Forward customer complaints to the Quotations manager when needed.
  • Contributing to the improvement of key performance indicators of the department
  • Comply with department and company procedures.
  • Ensure all offers and orders are handled by compliance requirements and raise any red flags.
  • Ensure that all company policies relating to quality requirements, health and safety, and housekeeping are met.


Ideal candidate skills and experience:

Essential:

  • Secondary school level Maths and English
  • Knowledge of using ERP/MRP system
  • Excellent computer literacy (high expertise in Microsoft Office package)

Desirable:

  • Higher Education
  • Experience in similar positions (+2 years)
  • Sales background experience
  • Good knowledge of sales procedures and practices
