We are currently seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to join our team in Accrington. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the quality of products received by our clients, driving improvement activities, and enhancing customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the business in waste reduction and throughput improvement while maintaining 100% quality performance.
- Handle Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), FAIR approvals, OFI identification, customer issues, and training of inspection personnel.
- Compile and submit First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) for customer approval using Visual FAIR.
- Interface with internal and external customers and suppliers on quality issues.
- Drive improvement activities to reduce scrap, rework, and non-value-added costs.
- Compile and monitor Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), R&R, and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation.
- Act as the PPAP Coordinator, ensuring the timely submission and approval of PPAP documents.
Location - Accrington, Lancashire
Salary - c£35k - £45k (dependent on experience)
