QSE Coordinator

Our client is a growing Chemicals Manufacturer with strong expansion plans looking to welcome a Quality, Safety & Environmental Coordinator to the team.

Perhaps you're an experienced Quality or Environmental professional within a Manufacturing setting?

Or maybe you're a Chemistry, Environmental Science or Quality graduate with a relevant placement or internship?

This position is ideal for an individual with a background in quality management or environmental science. If you have experience with ISO9001:2015, internal auditing, and strong communication skills, this role will allow you to apply and expand your expertise within a dynamic and supportive work environment. A self-starter with enthusiasm for compliance and environmental initiatives will thrive here.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
• Ensure systems are in place to meet HACCP & Hygiene requirements.
• Conduct internal audits and maintain quality procedures and documentation.
• Coordinate health and safety policies, including risk assessments and site inspections.
• Manage environmental testing and liaise with relevant regulatory bodies.
• Assist with waste management.
• Assist the QSE Manager and Factory Director with additional tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Quality or Environmental role
• Experience within Manufacturing preferred - Chemicals, Food (HACCP) or similar
• Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Quality Management or similar

Location: Blackburn
Permanent: £30k-£35k (dependent on experience)
Hours: 08:00 - 1700 (Mon-Thurs), 08:00 - 1500 (Fri)
