Have you worked within Welding and Fabrication environments?

Our client is the UK's largest Structural Steel company with one of the largest Steelwork plants based in Bolton, seeing continuous and significant business.

As an QA/QC NDT Engineer you will become an integral part of their Steel Fabrication shopfloor to ensure the highest levels of quality in compliance to ISO 9001, ISO 3834 and EN 1090.

You will utilise your PCN Level 2 certificate to carry out NDT Testing and Quality processes, working with structural steel.

You will liaise closely with Welding Inspectors, Production Managers, and Inspection Managers to ensure Welds are kept to high spec and in compliance to strict regulations.

Skills and Experience:
PCN Level 2 with experience in MPI
CSWIP 3.1 certificate desirable but can be offered in training for the right person
Ultrasonic Testing (UT) highly desirable but not essential
Knowledge of Welding processes and Welding Inspection
QA/QC experience

Location: Bolton
Perm: circa £40k - £45k (dependent on experience)
Hours: 07:00am-16:45pm (Mon-Thurs) / 07:00am-12:00pm (Fri)
