Production Engineer, Permanent position, Basic is upto £45,000 - dependent on experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well known Company, who specialise within the nuclear sector.

The Production Engineer role is within a leading Company within the UK nuclear industry, they provide a comprehensive range of critical nuclear solutions in clean energy, defence and civil new build and decommissioning projects.

The Role As a Mechanical Production Engineer you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be able to work on high end, nuclear machinery including 150 tonne fuelling machines. Day to day, you'll work with the project team to ensure implantation of the project execution plan. Seen as a senior member of the engineering team, you will be oversee and supervise assembly and test activities, identify hazards & risks and help improve production safety in line with company targets. You'll continually develop your knowledge and expertise.

Experience Required

Qualified & experienced mechanical engineer * Experience in assembly & test * Experience with heavy equipment ideal but not essential * Be able to understand basic design drawings * Must have or be able to obtain the necessary security clearance (SC)
