Our client is a leading global manufacturer that can boast success as being the largest producer in their field, and due to continuous growth and internal promotions we have a promising new opportunity to become an Operations Director covering 2 nearby sites in the heart of Scotland.

As the Operations Director you will be responsible for:

• Leading successful multi-functional teams to achieve business results through Quality, Cost and Delivery covering 2 x sites.
• Financial, budgetary and cost control management.
• Management, mentoring and development of 8 x direct reports, and overseeing further indirect teams.
• Developing a culture of continuous improvement and empowerment.
• Maximising resource utilisation.
• Development of effective processes and enhancing the lean manufacturing principles to all areas.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience of Operational & General Management for a large Manufacturing business.
• Degree qualified in relevant manufacturing, engineering or business discipline.
• Experience of financial / budget control
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Experience of working in a heavily unionised environment

Permanent: £90k - £100k salary + £7800 car allowance + 20% bonus + Benefits.
Location: Falkirk (covering 2 sites close by)
Hours: Full time - 37 hours per week - Mon-Fri (half day Fri).
