We are currently recruiting on behalf of an innovative forward thinking, family own waste processing company. Working as a Maintenance Engineer, you will be working for a company who put their people at the forefront of their operation. This role is ideal for a proactive and multi-skilled maintenance engineer with a background in manufacturing or processing industries, within a heavy engineering environment. The ideal candidate will excel in problem-solving, follow safety protocols, and effectively communicate with team members. They should be committed to continuous improvement and high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform effective mechanical and/or electrical maintenance and repairs on machinery.
  • Ensure machinery meets departmental requirements and conduct necessary checks.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely, maximizing productivity.
  • Communicate stock requirements and compile relevant maintenance reports.
  • Participate in shift briefings and liaise with the production team for continuous improvement.
