We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead high-profile, turnkey engineering contracts from tender through to successful delivery. Based primarily in South Yorkshire, this role involves overseeing complex, multidisciplinary projects, managing engineering teams, and liaising with clients and suppliers. Occasional UK travel to sites is required.

This role would suit a confident and capable professional with a mechanical engineering background and a passion for leading major engineering projects. Ideal for someone with hands-on experience in mechanical handling systems, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage teams, tenders, and technical delivery within demanding timescales.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex turnkey mechanical engineering projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare project estimates, tenders, and technical specifications.
• Oversee project progress to ensure on-time, compliant delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Ensure full adherence to relevant regulations, standards, and procedures.

In return you'll receive a salary up to £60k, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, Private Health, and a pension matched up to 4.5%.
