We require skilled Mechanical Fitters for an ongoing contract working on marine vessels for the defence industry.

These roles ares ideal for Mechanical fitters living within the Merseyside, Wirral and surrounding areas.

Applicants should be City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 qualified (or equivalent) with a background working on heavy machinery.

• Perform maintenance, stripping, and assembly of bearings, gearboxes, generators, pumps, and other mechanical equipment.
• Pass an online trade test to assess skills / ability.
• Competent using general hand / power tools.
• Adhere to the company's strict Drugs and Alcohol policy.

• Offering up to 60 hours per week
• £19.22 PAYE for the first 38 hrs.
• Overtime paid at time and half for weekdays and Saturdays. Double time for Sundays / Bank holidays.
• Holiday pay accrued from Day 1 as well as pension auto-enrollment,
• Gain experience working on high quality defence contracts.
